Now that Apple has "Mac OS X on Intel" running. And now that most developers have set the decision to move to Xcode. Would Apple have any "Cocoa for Windows" in its plan?

A few years ago, Apple scrapped the "Yellow Box for Windows (or Intel)" claiming, they can't find business model for that.

So "it was true." Apple is shifting toward Intel from PowerPC.

Everyone is talking about it and debating how good or bad Apple's decision can be. The pessimists list all the possible hazards and cry. But as always, I am on the optimistic camp.

I believe the most important message from Apple was not the "transition to Intel" but rather the "transition to Xcode."

先週買ったばかりのW21CAIIが、あっけなく旧機種に．．．

新サービスの目玉は、「聴かせて検索」と「EZテレビ」。
ついに気になる曲を、日本の携帯でも調べることが可能になりました。

「ちょっと地味」な発表だったとは言われているけれど、正常進化したEZナビウォークは個人的に気になるポイント。

午前中、渋谷で取材をした後、少し気分をリフレッシュして、仕事の遅れを一気に取り戻そうと、都内を見下ろせる某会員制シェアスペースに仕事をしにきた。ここにくると、意外な人と遭遇する機会が多い。私が非常にお世話になっているメーカーの取締役と広報部長の方に遭遇したこともある。

今日は、アナログ時計が貼られた個性の強いThinkPadがいきなり目に飛び込んできた。持ち主を見ると、ユビキタスマン、ことヒマナイヌの川井拓也さんだった。
　なんでも同じフロアで新しい通信会社の設立発表会とその展示が行われている、という。

松下電器産業、加賀電子、他からモバイルエンタテイメント、東洋アイティーホールディングスほかが出資するCyber Space Communications（CSC）という会社だった。
