クレジットカードラウンジにHOTSPOT

成田空港のクレジットカードラウンジは、申し訳ないけれどこれまでとんでもなく遅れていた。

インターネットにつないで通信をしたいというと、なんとデスクでISDN用のTAを貸してくれ、それで通信しろと言うのだ．．．

ところが、今回、数カ月ぶりにおとずれたらNTT CommunicationのHOTSPOTが導入されていた！

まあ、すぐ真下がスターバックスとマクドナルドなのだから当たり前と言えば、当たり前かもしれないけれど、Macユーザーにはこれがなかなかありがたい

　というのも、最近、成田もようやく空港内HOTSPOTが増えてきたが、これがなんともMacから使いにくいものばかり（IEでうまく表示されなかったり、etc.）。顧客を少しでも増やそうと言う努力が足りないサービスばかりだったのだ（料金が高い上に、説明もなんか面倒でわかりにくいし）。

　クレジットカードラウンジ、実は夕方まで始まらない渋谷・品川停車の成田エクスプレスをまったりするのに便利なロケーションなので、（行きはあまり使わないけれど）帰りにはよく使っていたが、これからはラウンジでメールチェックしてから、成田エクスプレスでゆっくりと返事を書くということができそうだ。

と、うれしくて現地から書いています

ちなみに関西空港のクレジットカードラウンジは去年の夏の時点で誰でも自由に（無料で）使える無線LANが導入されていました。

クレジットカードラウンジのインターネット・サービスは、無線LAN（無料）なんだと勝手に信じていました。
もっとサービスしてほしいものですねー……。

昨日は、開演20分前には全然たどり着けず、当然ケリス氏には会えませんでした……（残念）
でも、その前のウェンブリーよりずっといいライブでしたよー！
どこかで会ったら、「今度はぜひ！」とお伝え下さい :)
（彼は現在も米Apple社の社員なんですか？）

来週...（今週?）のG5ソリューションフエアに行くので、今までむとんちゃくだった"HOTSPOT"が気になってます。
もっとも、北海道からの飛行機は成田経由ではありませんが（笑）
勝手なイメージでは、首都圏などでは無料の無線LANがいたる所にあるものだと思っていました。勉強します...。
